Who we are looking for
Healthcare and senior care
Home care and home health aide providers, and services for older adults and people with disabilities.
Facility support
Facilities support, janitorial, landscaping and grounds, and industrial laundry and linen firms.
Specialty lanes
Graphic design and signage, home medical equipment including oxygen, and engineering and design, such as robotics and circuit boards.
We are especially interested in firms with local capacity outside Southeast Michigan, since teaming is how we serve requirements nationwide. We also welcome firms that support our self-performed lanes with training, supplies, background screening, uniforms or equipment.
SDVOSB and veteran-owned firms first
When we build a team, we look first to service-disabled veteran-owned and veteran-owned small businesses. It reflects who we are, and on SDVOSB set-asides, work performed by similarly situated SDVOSB subcontractors supports compliance with limitations on subcontracting. We welcome all qualified small and large businesses to register.
What we ask of subcontractors
- Active registration in SAM.gov, with a UEI.
- General liability, workers' compensation and any other insurance the work requires.
- The ability to perform your scope with your own employees.
- Accurate information about your capabilities, certifications and experience.
- Willingness to follow the contract's flow-down requirements and VETTED's quality and reporting processes.
What happens after you register
We review your information
We read your capabilities, NAICS codes and socioeconomic status, and confirm your SAM.gov registration.
We match you to opportunities
When a solicitation or teaming opportunity fits your capabilities and location, we reach out to discuss scope and availability.
We agree on terms in writing
Before any proposal work, we sign a teaming agreement or subcontract that defines scope, workshare, pricing and flow-down requirements.
We perform as one team
On award, you perform your scope with your own employees, under VETTED's program management, quality control and reporting.

Registration questions
Do I need to be SDVOSB-certified to register?
No. We look to service-disabled veteran-owned and veteran-owned firms first, but we welcome registrations from all qualified businesses. Tell us your status accurately so we can plan teams that comply with set-aside rules.
Do I need a capability statement?
It helps. A short PDF, two pages at most, with your NAICS codes, certifications, experience and point of contact gives us what we need to match you to work. If you don't have one, describe your capabilities in the form.
Will you share my information?
We use your registration to evaluate teaming and subcontracting opportunities. We do not sell it. See our privacy policy for details.
Can I register if I only work in one region?
Yes. Local capacity is exactly what we need for requirements outside Southeast Michigan. List the areas you cover in your capabilities description.
